It will soon be time to meet again at parent/teacher conferences~keep an eye out for the sign-up times for that day. I can't wait to share with you all of the growth your students have made since the last time we chatted. I'm so proud of them! 

We are running low on tissues and Clorox -type wipes if you would be able to donate either to the classroom, our little germ-fighting powers would be ever so thankful!

Heggerty Phonemic Awareness: Initial Sounds, Sound Blending, Medial Sounds, Segmenting, Adding Initial Sounds, Deleting Initial Sounds, Substituting Initial Sounds, Blending with Boxes. Introduction of digraphs this week (th, sh, ch, wh)

UFLI:  Making words with and working with letters and sounds: all short vowel vc and cvc words. Letters: Continued Hh and introduced Rr. Words reviewed:the, I, and, a, is, as, said, to, do, of, see, be, me, he

Bridge to Writing:  I can use color words to describe, I can draft a sentence with a color word in it, I can add another sentence to my writing, I can check and edit my writing, I can share my writing.
