We have been talking about farm life! Planting, eggs, animals...fun!!!

Heggerty Phonemic Awareness:  Sound Blending, Middle Sounds, Segmenting, Adding Final Sounds, Deleting Final Sounds, Substituting Vowel Sounds, Segment Sounds and Write the Letters. Continued digraphs this week (th, sh, ch, wh). Four and five letter words with blends.

UFLI:  Making words with and working with letters and sounds: all, oll, ull. Words reviewed: the, I, and, a, is, as, said, to, do, of, see, be, me, he, from, look, book, are, was, you, have, what- New heart words: go, no, so 

Bridge to Writing:  I can use bridge words- with and by,  I can draft a sentence with bridge words in it, I can write an opening and closing sentence,  I can add detail to my writing,  I can check and edit my writing, I can share my writing.

Reveal Math:  Targets this week: I can count by 1s to 100. I can describe patterns when counting by 1s to 100.

Go2Science: We have finished our capybara mission to Brazil and are still considering whether or not our hypothesis are true or false. What does your child think?

We haven't spoken in a bit! My husband and mom both had surgery and Kindergarten screening took 3 valuable days out of the classroom as well. We are still pressing on and doing some very good work! 

Heggerty Phonemic Awareness:  Sound Blending, Middle Sounds, Segmenting, Adding Final Sounds, Deleting Final Sounds, Substituting Vowel Sounds, Segment Sounds and Write the Letters. Continued digraphs this week (th, sh, ch, wh). Four and five letter words with blends.

UFLI:  Making words with and working with letters and sounds: FLSZ doubling spelling rule. Words reviewed: the, I, and, a, is, as, said, to, do, of, see, be, me, he, from, look, book, are, was, you, have, what- New heart words: your, want 

Bridge to Writing:  I can use bridge words- at and for,  I can draft a sentence with bridge words in it, I can write sentences in order, I can add a color and size word to my writing,  I can check and edit my writing, I can share my writing.
