We have enjoyed eating our way through the rainbow this week! Fun new foods and old favorites decorated our platters each day! Even blueberry ice cream for blue day!!! Yummy~

Heggerty Phonemic Awareness:  Sound Blending, Final Sounds, Segmenting, Adding Initial Sounds, Deleting Initial Sounds, Substituting Initial Sounds, Blending with Boxes. Introduction of digraphs this week (th, sh, ch, wh). Starting 4 letter words with blends.

UFLI:  Making words with and working with letters and sounds: all short vowel vc and cvc words. Letters: Qq  Words reviewed:the, I, and, a, is, as, said, to, do, of, see, be, me, he, from, look, book, are, was, you

Bridge to Writing:  Continued this unit- working on penmanship, punctuation, and spaces between words. 

I can use bridge words- on and off,  I can draft a sentence with bridge words in it, I can add a color and size word to my writing,  I can check and edit my writing, I can share my writing.

Reveal Math: Spent extra hands-on time in math this week surrounding teen numbers. It is a tricky concept! 

Targets this week: I can make groups of 16and 17 objects. I can explain how to make groups of 16 and 17 objects.
