This was a winter picture, but so pretty! |
We have enjoyed a week full of fire safety and even got to meet a real firefighter and parametic! We were able to look at a fire truck and an ambulance! So fun!!! Students learned about 9-1-1, Stop, Drop, Cover, and Roll, Get Low and GO, Replace batteries in smoke detectors, and NEVER touch matches or lighters. Let's all stay safe!
We started our Bridge to Writing program and there is a paper with a review of this new curriculum enclosed. So far, so fun!
Our Go2Science mission continues as we keep looking for clues to support our hypothesis in Wyoming. Beth and Curtis sure are giving us a lot of information and finding so much evidence for us to be thinking about. Fossils of bones and teeth, along with other clues appeared this week. We even had an experience with erosion! We only have 2 weeks left and still haven't had a sign of deiononychus... yet...Will we find evidence that he was there?
We are finishing up our "Reveal" math pilot this week and next and will begin Everyday Math at the conclusion of this math pilot. We have been working on numbers and sets to 5, problem solving, comparing and contrasting, following oral and visual directions, and basically learning to LOVE MATH!
